Rupert focuses in particular on the financial and economics side of cases, and works closely with legal teams, external experts and counsel to ensure that the best available financial modelling, quantum and interest analysis, economics, econometrics, key calculations and related pleadings and cross-examinations, any 3rd party and litigator funding arrangements, and legal claims valuations, are being used and presented most effectively for the client, court and tribunal. Rupert combines 3 areas of specialist technical expertise. He is an experienced magic circle lawyer and commercial and chancery barrister. He holds a D.Phil/PhD in economics and option pricing and previously taught, researched and supervised economics at Oxford. He also brings c.10 years expert practitioner knowledge of financial markets pricing and valuation optimization and market and model data gained at a AAA bank. Rupert also supports the Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship Programme, and is a member of Middle Temple and St. Cross College Oxford. |
